Who we are

Our Equity & Outreach team works with prospective students from equity-deserving communities, and partners with schools, guidance counsellors, graduation coaches and community organizations. Together, we help connect future students with programs, resources and opportunities that support access and equity at U of T. Whether you're planning your own path to university or supporting someone else on theirs, we're here to help.

Our community

U of T is home to a vibrant and diverse student body, and we're committed to making sure you feel seen and supported. You’ll find opportunities to connect with community and build a sense of belonging across our campuses.

Pathway programs

Not everyone takes the same path to university, and that’s okay. We offer bridging, transition and diploma-to-degree programs for students who may not meet traditional admission requirements or who are transferring from college. These programs are designed to help you start or continue your academic journey with support.

Upcoming outreach events

Our teams host regular virtual and in-person events for future students, community organizations, counsellors and other partners who support students on their journey to U of T.

Enrichment Academy

The Enrichment Academy is designed for first-generation university-bound students and those with a low socio-economic status, with a focus on Black and Indigenous students. The Academy works with students in as early as grade 9, who are in good academic standing but need further encouragement and enrichment to remain on a university-bound trajectory.
