Connecting with peers

Connecting with your peers provides guidance and helps to foster welcoming communities. You can find a variety of peer mentor programs and supports tailored to students from diverse backgrounds, including specific groups for Black, Indigenous, Latin American, Southeast Asian, first-generation students, and more. There are also hundreds of student-run groups where you can connect with other students who have similar lived experiences, backgrounds, or interests.

Health & wellness

Your health and wellness are a priority, and we support you with a wide array of services available across all three campuses. You’ll find mental health support, medical care, and wellness programs that help you live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Whether it’s through counselling, drop-in clinics, peer support networks, or wellness workshops, we provide the resources you need to flourish throughout your undergraduate journey.

Accessibility services

Our accessibility services offices provide comprehensive support to ensure students have equal access to educational opportunities. Services include academic accommodations and personalized support plans tailored to individual needs. We strive to create inclusive learning environments where all students can succeed and fully engage in university life.

Indigenous students

U of T provides a wide range of supports to Indigenous students. Work with an Indigenous Learning Strategist and participate in cultural events to sharpen your study techniques, enrich your journey, and grow your leadership skills. The recently created Indigenous Tuition Initiative further helps make education more accessible for Indigenous students.
