Fitness & fun

Staying active is part of a balanced student life. Whether you're training, trying something new or just looking to unwind, each campus offers state-of-the-art fitness and recreation spaces to support your physical and mental well-being. You’ll also find drop-in sports like basketball and volleyball, so it’s easy to stay active in a way that works for you. And no matter which campus you attend, you have access to them all.

Organized sport at every level

Competitive or casual, solo or team-based, sport is part of campus life. Intramurals, the Tri-Campus League and Varsity teams offer flexible ways to get involved, meet people and stay active. Choose the level of play that fits your goals, schedule and style.

Have fun, meet new people and stay active with intramural sports. Choose from a wide range of activities, like soccer, hockey, basketball, ultimate frisbee and more. Intramurals are open to all students and offer leagues, tournaments and events at various levels of competition.

The Tri-Campus League offers you a heightened level of competition, without the time commitment of a varsity athletic program. Take your game to the next level by learning from a committed coaching staff with a dedicated practice time and competing on all three campuses.

Varsity Blues swimmers have the longest running championship record of any swim team in Canada and several hundred members of Varsity Blues teams have qualified for the Olympics, FISU Games, Commonwealth Games, Pan Am Games and more.
