International University or College

If you are attending or have attended a recognized university or college and have a strong academic record, you will be considered for admission based on your post-secondary studies and your most recent annual average, although we will review your entire academic record. Program area prerequisites must be met at, or beyond, the minimum level required for admission from your educational system. You must submit all required documents by the published document deadline for your program(s) of interest. If you have studied at a recognized post-secondary institution beyond the minimum requirements, you may be eligible for transfer credits toward your degree. Transfer credits are assessed after admission. Transfer credit is not awarded for courses completed at Pre-University, Pre-Degree or Foundation level at other institutions.

Successful applicants are admitted to a program area. Admission to a specific program is determined by the Faculty/Department once transfer credits have been assessed, and will depend on whether or not program prerequisites and grade requirements have been met. Be sure to check the prerequisites for your intended area of study.

If you simply want to take courses to qualify for a graduate program or for other professional programs, you may want to consider applying as a Non-degree applicant.

Note: Some programs do not consider applications from students who have previously attended other post-secondary institutions. Be sure the program in which you are interested will consider your application.

If you wish to take courses to qualify for a graduate program or other professional programs, you may want to consider applying as a non-degree applicant.
