International Baccalaureate
Minimum Admission Requirement: International Baccalaureate Diploma, with English HL or SL.
Prerequisites can be presented at the Standard or Higher Level. Be sure to check the requirements for your intended area of study.
The following IB Math courses will satisfy the Calculus and Advanced Functions prerequisites for science and business programs:
- Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations HL
- Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL
- Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches HL
- Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations SL will satisfy the Advanced Functions prerequisite (only).
Applicants who completed the pre-2021 IB curriculum may present Mathematics SL or HL to satisfy the Calculus and Advanced Functions prerequisites. Math Studies cannot be used to satisfy a prerequisite.
If you are completing IB courses but are not enrolled in the full Diploma Programme, you may qualify for admission if you are completing another recognized secondary school diploma. See: Admission Requirements for a list of acceptable qualifications.
The IB Career-related Programme is not accepted as a basis of admission to U of T degree programs.

Final IB results must be submitted to U of T electronically by the IBO.
