In response to high demand and increased inquiries from prospective students worldwide, we are offering limited late application consideration for select undergraduate programs that begin in September 2025.

This option is being made available to support students who are facing unexpected challenges in their post-secondary education.

Important Information Before Requesting Late Application Consideration

  • This request applies only to direct-entry undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto.
  • This is not an application for admission. If you missed the deadline, you must first request permission to apply late by submitting a Late Application Consideration Form.
  • Late application consideration is not guaranteed. Requests are reviewed based on space availability, program timelines, and academic factors.
  • Only select programs are open to late consideration.
  • The Late Application Consideration form is for new applicants only. If you’ve already applied to U of T for September 2025—whether or not you’ve received a decision—you should not complete the form.
  • If your request is approved, we will send you instructions for submitting a late application.
  • International students must still obtain a valid study permit to study in Canada if admitted.
