Work Study Program

Across the University of Toronto, over 4000 students participate in the Work Study Program every year! Twice a year (fall-winter and summer), the Work Study Program offers paid, on-campus positions that provide you with an opportunity to deepen your knowledge, strengthen your skills and explore how your academic studies translate to career possibilities. All Work Study positions are CCR recognized (see the CCR website to learn more).

Why participate in the Work Study Program?

Unlike other on-campus work, the Work Study program has your learning at the centre of the experience. All Work Study students are expected to set learning goals for their experience to help ensure you are intentional about what knowledge and skills you want to strengthen and develop in your role. To help you, we recommend completing the activities in the Professional Development Workbook and consider some of the career workshops available on your campus (go to the Events & Workshops CLNx page and select your campus). The Workbook is optional and your supervisor may choose to support your learning goals in another way.
