Campus Tours

In-person campus tours will be on hold until further notice. We encourage visitors to consult the U of T’s community FAQ for regular updates, as well as the provincial Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario for relevant regional advisories.

Mississauga Campus

Join a Student Ambassador on a leisurely walking tour of our beautiful campus. Explore the different buildings and state-of-the-art student facilities including our new buildings, check out the various student hangouts, and take in the beautiful greenery.

UTM Campus Tour details:

Schedule: Monday to Thursday – 10:00am & 2:00pm; Friday – 10:00am.

Residence: Residence will be included but may not always be available at the beginning or end of terms due to move in/move out or exam dates.

Residence-only Tours

If you are interested in viewing only our residences, now you can! Residence Services Assistants (RSAs) will guide you through traditional-style and townhouse-style units, and will be able to answer any additional questions about residence at UTM. Please note that these tours are hosted exclusively by the Student Housing & Residence Life office.

Group Tours

Are you a guidance counsellor, teacher, or community member interested in bringing a group to campus? If you are bringing a group of 10 or more people, our team is happy to facilitate a group tour or create a program to meet your needs. We also have extensive experience working with Specialist High Skills Majors, grade 10 career classes, and more!

Sheridan College Tours

If you are interested in one of our joint degree and diploma programs with Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, you are invited to visit Sheridan’s Trafalgar Campus, only about a 15-minute drive from the UTM!

St. George (Downtown) Campus

Although we’re not welcoming visitors to campus for tours right now, we are hosting several online experiences. Join us to learn more about our St. George campus and life in downtown Toronto.

Student Guided Virtual Tour

Join our student tour guides as they (virtually) take you around the St. George campus, highlighting key facilities and buildings. They will give you insight on what it’s like to be a U of T student and answer any of your questions about campus life.

VR Tour

We have two virtual reality experiences that you can view. Use a VR headset, mobile device, or a web browser to see our campuses in action through our virtual reality tours.

Self-Guided Campus Tour

Take a self-guided virtual tour of some of the most important facilities and buildings on the St. George Campus. Tour the campus at your own pace, focusing on the points most important to you. 

Engineering Virtual Tour

Virtual tours are offered three times a week and consist of a 30-minute virtual tour presentation led by a current undergraduate engineering student. This will be followed by a 30-minute presentation by a U of T engineering recruiter to help answer any questions about applying.

Scarborough Campus

University of Toronto Scarborough campus tours are available throughout the year. Current students will guide you around the U of T Scarborough campus, including the Toronto Pan-Am Sports Centre, talk to you about university life and co-op experiences, discuss the best transit routes, and much more. Residence visits are often included, with some exceptions at certain times of year, such as during exams.

UTSC Campus Tour details:

  • Approximately one hour
  • Generally available Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m.
  • Call Admissions & Student Recruitment at 416-287-7529 if you:
    • Require an accommodation due to a disability (please give us as much notice as possible so that we can make arrangements)
    • Are interested in bringing a group of 10 people or more to campus
    • Are a guidance counsellor or teacher looking for a specialized tour or visit
    • Discover your preferred tour day is not available online and you’d like to arrange a special-request tour (since tours are guided by current students, they may not be available during University holidays or exam periods)
