Important Application Dates

2024-2025

The university application process starts in the fall of the year before you intend to begin your studies. Be sure to start looking into scholarships as well, as some have early deadlines.

Below is a list of our application and supporting document deadlines for studies beginning in 2025. We encourage you to submit your application, the appropriate application fee, and your supporting documents well in advance of posted deadlines. Admission decisions will be released starting in the new year and will continue through to late May. If we receive your application from OUAC after the program is closed, your application will be cancelled with no refund.

Early Applicants

Prospective undergraduate students who wish to receive an earlier admission decision are encouraged to apply by November 7 and submit all required documents by December 2. Our early consideration process works to expedite the review of these applications. Students who apply by November 7, and complete the necessary next steps listed on the Join U of T Applicant Portal by December 2, will be eligible to be considered for admission in the first admission round, as well as subsequent admission rounds.

New to Ontario

If you’re currently finishing high school in Ontario but completed Grade 11 outside the province, we’ll need your transcripts from your previous school to complete your application. To avoid any delays in assessing your application, we encourage you to apply by November 7 and follow the instructions on the Join U of T applicant portal to submit your Grade 11 results, along with any other required documents, by December 2.

Admission Decisions

Admission decisions will be released in rounds starting in January and through to late May—and into the summer depending on the program and applicant type.
