Eligibility: Recipients must: be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons living in Ontario at the time of studies; be taking between 20% and 59% of a full course load in a particular term; be enrolled in a program of student leading to a certificate, degree, or diploma; be enrolled in a study period that is between four and 52 weeks in length; have financial need according to the Part-time OSAP need assessment.

How/When Is It Paid: When you receive your notice of funding eligibility, you must go in to your College or Faculty Registrar's office to pick up a part-time funding certificate. Funding cannot be issued before the start of classes. Grant funding is generally paid in two installments, one at the start of your part-time study period, and one halfway through your part-time study period. Loan funding is paid in one installment.
