The McCall MacBain Scholarships will be offered through the McCall MacBain Foundation to students beginning their master’s or professional (dentistry, law, medicine) degree at McGill University in Fall 2021.
The McCall MacBain Scholarship coverstuition and fees for an eligible master’s or professional program and a living stipend of $2,000 per month during academic terms. It includes an enrichment program including mentorship, interdisciplinary learning and access to a global community.
In addition to McCall MacBain Scholarships, up to 28 regional awards will be granted as a one-time $5,000 entrance award for graduate study at any Canadian public university. Up to 30finalist awards will be granted as a one-time $10,000 entrance award for graduate study at McGill University.
The McCall MacBain Scholarship Selection Committee will be looking for students with exceptional character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength, and intellectual curiosity. Candidates must meet the GPA (and other) requirements of their selected program at McGill.
This is an external scholarship.
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria:
Hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee status in Canada
Have a bachelor’s degree, or be on track to graduate with one, by August 2021
How to Apply: Students must complete the online scholarship application.
An authorization code is not needed, and there are no application fees. The application includes the personal statement, three short essays, a one-page resume, transcript(s) and reference letters.

U of T Endorsement Guidelines
All current students and recent alumni who graduated (or expect to do so) in 2019 or later must earn an endorsement.
U of T will endorse applications by October 6, 2020.
The endorsement will be coordinated through Enrolment Services for all divisions, except Trinity College and Victoria College. Trinity College and Victoria College students will be endorsed by their registrars office.
