Awards

The University has comprehensive scholarship programs that recognizes outstanding achievement at different levels of study. The University, its colleges, faculties and divisions award approximately 4,500 admission scholarships that total nearly $20 million and nearly 5,000 in-course awards each year.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Public Repository as part of Award Explorer! The Award Explorer is the University of Toronto’s new awards system – a centralized, searchable database from admissions to in-course and graduating awards. It supplements existing resources and aims to make it easier for you to explore awards at U of T.

Scholarship Sorter

The Scholarship Sorter is integrated with the Award Explorer. Explore awards using the Award Explorer. You will be directed to the Sorter if you would like to learn more about an award that is offered through Enrolment Services.

Select the type of award you are interested in learning about. Future students should search for admission scholarships. Current students should look at awards for undergraduate or graduate students.

If the application deadline falls on a day the University is closed (e.g. weekend, statutory holiday, etc), applications are accepted on the following business day.

The School of Graduate Studies maintains a list of major graduate awards accessible through their website.
