Congratulations to the recipients of the University of Toronto admission awards!

If you are an award recipient, please review the award information and the terms of conditions for the award.

By accepting your admission offer, you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions listed in the award document below.

Terms & Conditions – General


This scholarship offer is conditional on your completing the remainder of your secondary school program and meeting all the requirements on your offer of admission. The University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship offer if these conditions are not satisfied.

If, in the opinion of the University, a student has received adequate recognition in the form of other awards, the value of this scholarship may be reduced or the offer withdrawn.

Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration in September of the year in which it is awarded. Students must be registered full time for both the fall and winter sessions. The funds in payment of your award will be credited to your fees account following registration in September. After deduction of outstanding fees, any balance remaining will be issued by direct deposit. Please ensure your direct deposit banking information is updated on your ACORN account. Instructions are available through ACORN.

Students who withdraw, or who substantially reduce their course load during the academic year, may be required to repay all or part of their award. Please review the Renewable Scholarships section below for additional impact.

Unless otherwise indicated, renewable awards may be held up to four years of undergraduate study, provided the following renewal requirements are met each year: continue in your undergraduate program in good academic standing, successfully complete a full-time course load and maintain full-time registration status for both fall and winter terms. Please review the award specific terms and conditions below.

Terms & Conditions – Specific Awards


In addition to the general terms and conditions listed above, the following renewal conditions apply to the Fairfax Financial Award. The award may be renewed if you continue to demonstrate financial need, continue in your undergraduate program with a B average, successfully complete a full-time course load and maintain full-time registration status for both fall and winter terms.

In addition to the general terms and conditions listed above, the following renewal conditions apply to the OHA War Memorial Scholarship. The $450 tuition allowance may be renewed for years 2, 3 and 4, provided the following conditions are met. The award may be renewed if you continue to demonstrate financial need, achieve an annual GPA of at least A-, successfully complete a full-time course load and maintain full-time registration status for both fall and winter terms.

This scholarship offer is conditional on your completing the remainder of your secondary school program and meeting all the requirements on your offer of admission. The University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship offer if these conditions are not satisfied.

For a Faculty specific award, payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration, as of September, in the Faculty making the scholarship offer. Students must be registered full time for both the fall and winter sessions. Students who withdraw or who substantially reduce their course load during the academic year may be required to repay all or part of their award.

Please note that the President’s Scholar of Excellence is not tenable with the following admission scholarships:  Lester B. Pearson International ScholarshipU of T National Scholarship or U of T Scholar. This means that the scholarship offer that is of higher value will replace the scholarship of lower value.

Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration in September at the Faculty making the scholarship offer (i.e. the scholarship offer is Faculty specific). Students must be registered full time for both the fall and winter sessions. Students who withdraw or who substantially reduce their course load during the academic year may be required to repay all or part of their award.

Please note that the U of T Scholar admission award is not tenable with the following admission scholarships: Lester B. Pearson International ScholarshipNational Scholarship or President’s Scholar of Excellence. This means that the scholarship offer that is of higher value will replace the scholarship of lower value.
