Description of Award: 

The Rabbi Isserman Prize of $250 is awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student on the basis of an essay exploring International or Interracial Relations. If no essay is deemed worthy, the Prize will not be awarded.

Recipients must be:

  • an undergraduate or graduate student
  • submit an essay exploring International or Interracial Relations.
How to Apply: 

Essays are to be typewritten and approximately 3,000 words in length. They should be accompanied by a bibliography, and all authorities should be cited and quotations indicated. Each essay should be submitted under a pseudonym, with the writer’s real name, College/Faculty/School, and local address attached in a sealed envelope. Essays should be submitted to:
